Day 1: Transfer from Kigali – Goma – Bukima in DR Congo

On your first day of the 3 Days Congo Gorilla tour, you will meet with your guide from VIsit and Tour Rwanda at the airport and Immediately, your driver/guide will cruise you through Kigali heading to the Bukima in the Democratic Republic of Congo. This will take you roughly 4 hours to reach Goma where you will have a stopover for lunch refreshment. Later, you will transfer to Bukima reaching in the evening for dinner and overnight stay at Bukima lodge/Mikeno lodge.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Virunga National Park

Have an early morning breakfast and then get on to arrive at Virunga National Park headquarters to be briefed by the park rangers on the gorilla trekking insights. Here you will be told the rules while trekking to ensure a peaceful and enjoyable experience, you will then hike into the jungle searching the allocated gorilla family. Interaction with the gorillas will last for an hour after which you will descend back to the starting point. Non-flash light cameras are the only ones allowed to take photographs.

Day 3: Transfer to Kigali, Departure

Have a morning breakfast and take a journey back to Kigali dropping off at your hotel or at the airport for a scheduled flight back home. If time permits, your guide will take you on a tour of the cultural sites in Kigali, including the Genocide Memorial Center. That will mark the end of your 3 Days Congo Gorilla Tour.
