The Gorilla Trekking Rwanda tour starts from Kigali City at an early bird watchers time; 4:30 am immediately after packing up your breakfast and energy giving snacks (these are very important during the hike which may take between 1-6 hours of search). Our safari guide will drive you to Kinigi RDB Park head offices for gorilla trekking registration and briefing on what to do and not do during the trekking activity.

You will be assigned a gorilla family for your group (divided into 8 persons per group led by a guide) basing on your trekking ability as rated from the easiest, medium and hardest gorilla family to trek. You are advised to be realistic with your fitness and health to pick the right trek which will not overstrain you. The trek may take between 1 – 6 hours of hiking to encounter the Mountain gorillas, after which you’ll have lunch at the Hotel/Lodge you checked into, then drive back to Kigali for an outbound flight.
