Detailed Itinerary.
Day 1: Arrival – Entebbe Airport.
On arrival at the airport you will be welcomed by our company representative who will brief you on the 8 day Uganda tour and take you on a birding expedition in Entebbe Botanical Gardens. Later head to the hotel booked for you where you will have dinner stay overnight.

Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, head to Murchison Falls National Park with birding en-route and a lunch stop reaching the park in the evening, in time for dinner and overnight stay.

Meals: (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner).
Day 3: Full Day Birding in Murchison Falls National Park.
Wake up to a great breakfast treat and then packed lunch so as to have more time in the wild, head for a game drive as you watch out for the available bird species like, The Giant, Pied, Malachite, Stripped, Chestnut-bellied, Blue-breasted, Woodland and the African Pygmy Kingfishers, House Martin, African Rock Martin, Lesser Stripped Swallow, Ethiopian Swallow, Angola Swallow, and various others. There after head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Guided Nature Walk – Afternoon Boat Cruise
After breakfast today, there will be a nature walk to search for the local bird species on foot. A game ranger will accompany you and show you all the best places to watch birds in action. The afternoon activity will involve a boat ride along the Nile delta where we can observe a variety of birds, including the Shoebill Stork, Little Grebe, Great White and Pink-backed Pelicans, Red-knobbed Coot, African Water Rail, Allen’s Gallinule, and Black Crake, up close. Following the activity, we will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Morning Game Drive – Transfer to Budongo Forest
Having had breakfast you will go on a morning game drive in Murchison Falls National Park where you will surely encounter vast animal species as well as different bird species. Later transfer to Budongo forest where you will engage in more birding, make sure to have you lunch pack so as to spend more time in the forest as you enjoy the rewarding bird species that can be viewed while in Budongo forest. There after the activity head to the lodge reserved at for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Birding Tour in Budongo Forest Reserve
Have an early morning breakfast and prepare to have a full bird watching expedition in Budongo Forest. This place is home to vast bird species that you will be sure to spot. Later head back to the lodge for dinner and stay overnight.

Day 7: Transfer to Entebbe
Have breakfast and get on the road back to Entebbe. Depending on your arrival time, you may go bird watching at the Uganda Wildlife Education Center. Proceed to the hotel in Entebbe where you will have dinner and spend the night.

Day 8: Departure
Wake up in the morning and eat breakfast then head for the airport.
