Detailed Itinerary.
Day 1: Kampala – Murchison Falls National Park
Your tour guide will pick you up at your place of residence in Kampala by 7:30 am to drive you to the northwest’s Murchison Falls National Park, via Masindi Town and the well-known Luwero Triangle. You will have lunch at the Kabalega Diner.
Before you enter the park, make your way to the top of the falls to see the full splendour of the Nile! Admire the Nile as it falls 40 metres with a tremendous crash and narrows from 50 metres to squeeze through a 6-meter gorge. You’ll next make your way to your resort, have dinner and stay overnight.
Accommodation: Paraa Safari Lodge, Pakuba Safari Lodge.
Meals: (Lunch, Dinner).
Day 2: Morning Game Drive – Afternoon Boat Cruise to the Falls.
Enjoy the scenery on a morning game drive through the Nyamsika Plateau. You might spot some of the big five; elephants, lions, buffaloes, and giraffes as well as warthogs, bush backs, water bucks, heart-beasts, and many other animals. After breakfast, lunch, and refreshments, head back to the resort to get ready for a boat ride upstream to the base of the falls on the calm Victoria Nile. Along the way, you may witness water bucks, crocodiles, hippos, and a variety of birds, including egrets, pelicans, kingfishers, weaver birds, and herons. The “Devil’s Cauldron” is only a few metres away from where the boat stops. Capture images of the striking and picturesque Murchison Falls. Go back to the lodge to have dinner and spend the night.

As the Nile deposits garbage before entering Lake Albert, you will also notice that its speed decreases. After lunch, head back to the lodge to get ready for your evening game drive, during which you will search for any animals that you may have missed on the first one. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay following the game drive.
