Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Your tour guide will get you from your Kampala hotel or home and drive you over the Masaka-Mbarara route to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Expect to stop at the Equator crossing on the way to Queen Elizabeth National Park so you may take pictures and conduct a water experiment to identify the Northern and Southern hemispheres. After lunch at the Igongo Cultural Centre, depart Kayabwe and head to Queen Elizabeth National Park, perhaps stopping by the museum afterwards. Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kyambura Gorge
Head out for briefing in Kyambura Gorge regarding chimpanzee tracking regulations. It will take three to four hours to experience the thrill of chimpanzee trekking, which includes an hour to learn about their habits and behaviours and snap pictures before they retire into the jungle for lunch. Views of the beautiful forest, birds, and other primates may all be seen during the Kyambura Chimpanzee Trek. Return to the lodge in the afternoon to take a Lake Katwe tour.
