Day 1: Arrival – Bujumbura

You will be welcomed by our company representative upon arrival, they will take you on a half-day visit to Bujumbura town, depending on the time you arrive  after which we will depart to the hotel that has been booked for your dinner and stay overnight at;

Day 2: Bujumbura – Source of the Nile

Following breakfast, we will drive 120km to visit the site that is believed by many to be the true Source of the Nile at Rutovu enjoy the experiences take pictures, and. Return to Bujumbura in the evening.

Day 3: Gitega – Gishora Tour

Have breakfast and visit the famous drum sanctuary site of Gishora-Gishora in Burundi. The site also houses two ritual drums that were never beaten. The Ruciteme and Murimirwa respectively. These two names are intimately linked to the farming vocation and also refer to fertility in the local language, the king’s characteristic. You will visit the drum sanctuary of Gishora to explore the cultural tradition of Burundi. Have lunch at Gitega and after take a city tour around Gitega the second largest town in the country.

Day 4: Departure

Have a relaxed breakfast and proceed to the Airport for your flight connections back home.
