Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Your first day of the 3 Days Uganda gorilla trekking trip will start early in the morning with a pickup transfer from Kampala/Entebbe Airport for a long hour scenic journey (8-10 hours) before arriving in Uganda’s Switzerland, the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park located in Southwestern Uganda. Enjoy a countryside scenery journey with stopovers along the way over the beautiful landscape of Uganda, remarkably at the Equator line where you will have lunch en route. Keep your cameras near you and our driver will definitely stop if you need him to so that you can capture beautiful moments along the way.

At around 6-7pm, you will finally arrive at Bwindi National Park Headquarters for check-in and as well book your accommodation for dinner and overnight. Recommended accommodation: Rushaga Gorilla Havens Lodge or Trekkers Tavern Lodge.

Day 2: Uganda Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Park

After a tasty early morning breakfast, you will drive to the Park headquarters for registration and attend to a gorilla trekking briefing about the dos and the don’ts during your Uganda Gorilla Trekking Tour. Once this is done, you will trek through thick creepers and undergrowth with your guides to find the Gorillas, which can take you from half an hour to three-quarters of the day.
The steeply forested landscape is incredibly dense but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. On your trek, you are likely to spot other primates, birds and rare tree species. After finding the gorillas, you will be allowed to spend one hour with them before getting back to the Park headquarters.

At the park headquarters, you will be awarded a certificate for participating in gorilla trekking and thus contributing to the conservation of mountain gorillas. Dinner and Overnight at Rushaga Gorilla Havens Lodge or Trekkers Tavern Lodge.

Day 3: Final Day of Uganda Gorilla Trekking Tour

After your breakfast, you will be driven to Kampala or Entebbe for your final day tour in Uganda. Alternatively, for luxury travelers, you may opt for flying transfer with Aero Links if you are on a tight timeline.
