Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Kampala – Lake Mburo National Park
Head for Lake Mburo National Park, which is home to a plethora of impalas, topis, zebras, birds, and endangered Rothschild giraffes, but also just three of the big five game. Expect a day full of natural beauties as you travel the picturesque Masaka-Mbarara route in a 4×4 Safari Van or Land Cruiser. While travelling, stop at Kayabwe’s Equator for some photography and water experiments to show off the impacts of the equator.
Once there, settle into the lodge of your choice and have a delectable lunch while taking in the park views. Take a boat ride on Lake Mburo after lunch. It is possible to see hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of water birds, such as fish eagles, pelicans, and the uncommon shoebill stork, during this two-hour aqueous excursion.
Walk around the natural environment with a guide as the sun starts to drop. This is your chance to get up close and personal with the park’s vegetation and creatures. See warthogs, antelopes, and, if you’re lucky, a sly leopard. Head back to your resort for a lavish meal. Talk about your trip experiences with other passengers while you eat.
