The Lodge was opened in March, 2021, the dream took place several years ago and it’s a community based initiative. The mission of Inzu is to provide ecological accommodations and a unique tourism experience while respecting Rwanda’s traditions and which will also benefit the local community.
Lodging
The lodge has got safari tents, use of local construction materials, use of stainless steel straws like serving beverages such as smoothies and cocktails, water recovery system, showers with water saving system, low consumption lighting, solar water heater in the main building, Towel and beddings changed only upon request, water recovery system. The other facilities in the lodge include; self-contained toilets, free water filtered for the guests.
Accommodation facilities
Safari Tents
There are about 8 safari tents and these are equipped with a double bed and 2 single beds, shelves, tables and chairs. These include; Urumuli tent, Izuba tent, Ibyishino tent, Amahoro tent, Agaciro tent, Ukukundo tent, and Ukwezi tent.
Bamboo House
This is kivu room with double bed with a single bed. It has got a view from the Bangalow, toilet and shower beside the Kivu room; the bamboo house is equipped with a double bed and single bed, with shelves, tables and chairs.
Camping site
Inzu Lodge also offers you the possibility of sleeping under your tent. Carry your equipment and take advantage of our magnificent sight on Lake kivu. We also welcome group or a single person.
The Lodge has both local and international dishes that are served in the restaurant, the clients are free to order any food types and they will be served.
