Buhoma Lodge is conveniently located near the headquarters of the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, only a short three-minute walk from the gorilla tracking meeting spot and other local activities. The lodge is located in a beautiful area of western Uganda, around eight hours’ drive from Kampala.
Buhoma Lodge, which features eight cottages scattered over a slope with breathtaking views of the forest opposite, has improved the park’s lodging options. The rooms are large, have simple furniture, and are well designed. They all feature balconies where you can unwind with a coffee in the afternoon and take in the view, as well as en suite bathrooms with hot and cold running water. To keep you comfortable in the chilly evenings, a fire is set in the main lodge.
