Day 1: Transfer from Kigali to Gisenyi
Upon arrival, you will be met by our company representative who will meet greet and start your journey to the volcanic mountain, he will transfer you to Gisenyi town around Lake Kivu and thereafter reach for Goma to cross the border, the beach areas are very eye-catching, depending on the time you arrive, you can choose to have an optional boat cruise on Lake Kivu, cross the border and transfer to the lodge that has been booked for your dinner and stay overnight,

Day 2: Hiking to the summit of Nyiragongo Mountain
Following early morning breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters to begin the great trek, hiking to the summit takes 4-6 hours to witness this active volcano, beginning at the Kibati, trackers are led through by a park ranger guide, you can hire a porter to help carry luggage, you can carry your food or have the one prepared by the park team, climbing this mountain needs one to be physically fit so kindly prepare for it, spending the night at the summit while camping to watch the beautiful hot glaze of the vocanic crater.

Day 3: Descending to the Bottom
Breakfast and after which we will descend the volcano, you will have beautiful views of the Goma town, and the Virunga national park, arriving to meet our driver guide who will transfer you to Kigali international airport for departure, lunch en-route.
