Our 3 days’ safaris will give you an insight of Rwanda to track chimpanzee in Nyungwe forest national park, the conservation area is located in the south western part of Rwanda with beautiful views surrounding the park premises, it is home to a number of primate species popular for chimpanzee, it has large numbers of colobus monkeys, one activity that is more than interesting in the conservation area, there are forest hikes.
Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park
You will transfer from Kigali to Nyungwe forest national park early in the morning, we will have pass by ethnographic Museum in Huye, it shows cases Rwanda’s historical and cultural aspects of the country, we have lunch after the museum visit and proceed our journey to Nyungwe forest national park, we arrive in the late evening for dinner and stay overnight at

Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking and Canopy Walk
Following an early morning breakfast, we will transfer to the park center for chimpanzee tracking, the activity begins at the Uwinka center with two trails leading through the forest, one at Uwinka and the Cyamudongo trails. The forest has a rich bio diversity hosting over 200 tree species, you will enjoy the forest compostion as you hike through it, enjoy the Albertine endemic birds sing swiftly in your ears after the chimpanzee walk, you will have a canopy walk or transfer to the lodge for dinner and stay overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Kigali
Following breakfast, you will be transferred from Nyungwe forest national park to Kigali, if time allows you can do a mini tour of the city and then depart.
