Day 1: Arrival in Kigali
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by our company representative who will brief you after taking you for a city tour in Kigali, visiting the Rwanda memorial genocide, markets, the national museum for historical events of the country, have lunch and back to the lodge that has been booked for your dinner and stay overnight.

Day 2: Transfer to Bukavu
After breakfast, you will transfer to Bukavu near, arriving for a border crossing check-in at the cyangungu order, we will stop over in Butare for a museum tour en route and the Nyanza kings palace, spending the night at

Day 3: Drive to Lwiro Chimpanzee Sanctuary
Flowing breakfast, you will be transferred to the Lwiro chimpanzee sanctuary in Bukavuyou will have a chance to meet chimpanzees, enjoy sightseeing, the activity is a full day one, have some time to talk to researchers who will educate you more about the chimpanzees

Day 4: Transfer to Goma
We will wake up to a mouth-watering breakfast, after which our guide will drive you to Goma, an optional boat safari on Lake Kivu and check-in at the accommodation that has been booked for your dinner, and stay overnight at

Day 5: Transfer to Virunga National Park
Following an early morning breakfast, we will drive through the beautiful sceneries to Virunga national park, it is one of the oldest conservation areas of Africa, stretching to the Semuliki valley arriving for check-in at

Day 6: Mountain Gorilla Trekking
We will wakeup to early morning breakfast, drive to the park headquarters for a morning briefing, you will be divided into groups of eight per gorilla family led by a park ranger an hour is allowed with the mountain gorillas, take pictures, videos, but remember to avoid flash photography as the animals may fume about it returning to the lodge for dinner and staying overnight.

Day 7: Hiking to the summit of Nyiragongo Mountain
Following early morning breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters to begin the great trek, hiking to the summit takes 4-6 hours to witness this active volcano, beginning at the Kibati, trackers are led through by a park ranger guide, you can hire a porter to help carry luggage, you can carry your food or have the one prepared by the park team, climbing this mountain needs one to be physically fit so kindly prepare for it, spending the night at the summit while camping to watch the beautiful hot glaze of the volcanic crater.

Day 8: Descending to the bottom – Departure
Breakfast and after which we will descend the volcano, you will have beautiful views of the Goma town, and the Virunga national park, arriving to meet our driver guide who will transfer you to Kigali international airport for departure, lunch en-route.
