Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer from Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park

The guide from our tour company will pick you up from Arusha Airport or from your hotel, brief you about the safari and then you start your transfer to Lake Manyara National park. You will arrive in time for lunch and then after you have enjoyed lunch, you shall proceed into the Lake Manyara National Park for an afternoon game drive. The location of the park along the western escarpment of the great Rift valley with a massive and shallow soda lakes that attracts variety of wildlife species including tree climbing lions, flocks of Flamingos and many more. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 2: Transfer to Serengeti Plains

Have breakfast and then transfer to the Serengeti National Park, through the great high lying farmlands of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The Serengeti has got endless plains, which roll into the distance as far as the eye can see. You will then continue to the central park area, known as the seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park which features the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracting many wildlife that best represents most of the Serengeti species. Arrive at the park in time for lunch and after go for an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 3: Have a full day at Serengeti Plains

Have breakfast and then go for a morning game drive along the Sogore River Circuit, which twists into the plains south of the seronera River, some of the wildlife found here include; lions, Topis, cheetahs, ostriches and the Thomson Gazelles. After the game drive, proceed to the visitor centre close to Serengeti seronera Lodge, it offers very interesting wildlife displays as well as a gift shop that sells information leaflets and maps of the area.

Later in the afternoon, we will drive through the Kopjes circuit, which goes anti- clockwise around the Masai Kopjes, this circuit is also known for having a number of lions and some very large cobras. The kopjes are granite out crops that are scattered around the plains, most of which are miniature ecosystems, offering shade and drinking water in pools left in the rock after the rains. The Kopjes are good hunting grounds for the lions most especially in dry seasons when most wildlife come to drink up. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 4:  Transfer to Ngorongoro Crater

Have breakfast at the lodge, we shall transfer to the Ngorongoro conservation area. We will have a stopover at Olduvai George, boasting with a history dating back to the dawn of time. Arrive at the lodge in time for lunch after which we descend over 550 m into the Ngorongoro crater to see wildlife for the rest of the day. Ngorongoro has got variety of wildlife species including; elands, warthog, zebras, buffaloes, hippos, elephants, African elephants, jackals, cheetahs as well as the leopards. You will also visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner and one of the main features of the crater. There are a large of flamingoes, hippos, and other water birds found here. Overnight at the lodge.

Day 5: Transfer to Tarangire National Park

Have breakfast and then transfer to Tarangire National Park., this national park stretches along the banks of River Tarangire, mostly composed of low lying hills on the great rift valley floor. The natural vegetation in the park is composed of Acacia woodlands and giant Baobab trees, with huge swamp areas in the southern sections.Th to the Lodge for relaxatione national park is known to having some of the largest herds of elephants in Africa, the other animal species found here include; greater Kudu, the Fringed eared, Oryx as well as a few Ashy starlings. After the morning game drive, you will have a picnic lunch before embarking on an afternoon game drive. You will then later retire and rest.

Day 6: Drive back to Arusha City

You will wake early for a morning game drive in Tarangire National Park. You will then return to the lodge for your breakfast, packing up and check-out. We will then transfer back to Arusha.
