Day 1: Drive from Kigali to Volcanoes National Park
Upon your arrival at the Airport, you are welcomed by the company guide who will then brief you about the safari. Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park is among the four parks where mountain gorillas are currently living. You will have a city tour where you are to visit the genocide memorial site, Kimirambo Women center, as well as Inema Arts Centre. Have lunch and then start your drive to Volcanoes National Park, where you will have dinner and an overnight.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking & visit the twin lakes or community walks
Tracking mountain gorillas in their natural habitat of Volcanoes National Park is a great experience that will stay with you every waking moment. Wake up early so that the driver transfers you to the briefing area at the park headquarters. Get to enjoy the traditional dances and coffee as you wait to receive the briefing from the ranger guide. You will be given information on the groups to trek and you transfer to meet your ranger guide. After the briefing, you start your trek into the jungles of volcanoes National Park. You are as well advised to take up a porter to help with your day pack and some of your gadgets. Once you meet the gentle giants, you will interact with them as you take some photos for strictly 1 hour.
After the trek, have lunch and then proceed for a visit to the twin lakes or a community walk. After, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight at the lodge as above.
Day 3: Departure
Wake up early and have a morning breakfast before you check out from the lodge. After, your driver will transfer you to Kigali where you will have a short time shopping from the local markets and buy some souvenirs. Just in case you are still on time, you can as well visit the pottery project and the franco Rwandan cultural Centre. Have lunch and then transfer to the airport as you will be heading home.
